Schalke 04 vs. Bayer Leverkusen: Predictions, lineups & how to watch live stream info

Schalke 04 are looking to end a miserable run in the Bundesliga when they welcome Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday at 5:00 pm.

The Royal Blues have been tumbling down the table having failed to win any of their last 12 matches — a run which has seen them accumulate only five points.

It couldn’t be any different for Leverkusen who are in the battle to secure Champions League football ahead of next season. Peter Bosz’s men have been impressive since the resumption of play and will fancy their chances on the back of winning three of their last four league matches on the road.

As for Leverkusen, barring a slightly anomalous hammering at the hands of Wolfsburg, they’ve been very good since the league’s restart, and three consecutive away wins against Bremen, Gladbach and Freiburg—two of these victories by margins of at least a couple of goals—is a very promising sign.

Schalke are woeful going forward (with just 35 goals all season), and while defensively they’re fairly average, this goal-rich Leverkusen side still have the ability to take them to the cleaners if they’re on song, particularly if Kai Havertz returns to fitness in time.

Real Madrid vs Eibar: how and where to watch live match

Real Madrid will look to keep pace with La Liga leaders Barcelona when they host Eibar on Sunday evening.

Los Blancos head into matchday 28 sitting two points behind Quique Setien’s side and know they’ve got 11 more games to close the gap on the defending champions.

Despite being outscored 63-49 by Barça, Real have the strongest defensive record in La Liga, conceding just 19 goals so far.

It bodes well for Zinedine Zidane’s men that Eibar have scored the fourth-lowest number of goals (27) in the Spanish top flight this season and had lost four of their last five matches prior to the suspension of play.

Will the Madrid-based club make a victorious return to action or will José Luis Mendilibar mastermind the destruction of Madrid’s title charge?
